Legal Notice

The April 2026 meeting of the Board of Directors of Nebraska Public Power District will be held Wednesday and Thursday, April 8-9, 2026, at NPPD’s General Office, 1414 15th Street, Columbus, Nebraska. NPPD Board committees will also meet April 8-9, 2026 at the Columbus General Office.

The schedule for NPPD’s April 2026 Board meeting is as follows:

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2026

  • Customer Committee Meeting (2026 Wholesale Power Contract) – 10:30 a.m., Niobrara Room
  • NPPD Board of Directors Meeting and General Counsel Report – following Customer Committee, Board Room

THURSDAY, APRIL 9, 2026

  • Finance Committee of the Whole – 9:00 a.m., Niobrara Room
  • Operations Committee – following Finance Committee, Niobrara Room
  • Customer and Corporate Services Committee – following Finance Committee, Loup Room
  • NPPD Board of Directors Meeting – following Customer and Corporate Services Committee and Operations Committee, Board Room
  • Nuclear Committee of the Whole – will meet as part of the Board of Directors Meeting
  • Public Comments – 1:30 p.m., Board Room

The public will be able to watch a live video stream of the Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday, April 9, by accessing https://nppd.com/aboutus/live-streaming.  The video stream for Finance Committee of the Whole will begin at 9:00 a.m.; a second, separate video stream for the full Board of Directors meeting is expected to begin at approximately 1:00 p.m. with Strategic Business Matters; further schedule updates will be available on NPPD’s website the morning of April 9. Recordings of these meetings will be available approximately one week after the meeting. The Operations Committee and Customer & Corporate Services Committee meetings will not be streamed.

It is possible that portions of the April 8-9, 2026, meetings will be held in Executive Session. Agendas for these meetings are kept continuously current and are available for public inspection during business hours at the office of the Assistant Secretary at the Columbus General Office, Columbus, Nebraska, or online at https://nppd.com/aboutus/live-streaming. The agenda for the April 9, 2026, meeting includes, among other matters, consideration of a proposed revised Meter Report Service Charges Rate Schedule, which is proposed to become effective for service provided on and after May 1, 2026.
