Legal Notice

The November 2025 meeting of the Board of Directors of Nebraska Public Power District will be held Wednesday and Thursday, November 12-13, 2025, at NPPD’s General Office, 1414 15th Street, Columbus, Nebraska. NPPD Board committees will also meet November 13, 2025 at the Columbus General Office.

The schedule for NPPD’s November 2025 Board meeting is as follows:

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2025

  • NPPD Board of Directors Meeting and General Counsel Report – 2:00 p.m., Board Room

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2025

  • Finance Committee of the Whole – 9:00 a.m., Niobrara Room
  • Operations Committee – following Finance Committee, Loup Room
  • Customer and Corporate Services Committee – following Finance Committee, Niobrara Room
  • NPPD Board of Directors Meeting – following Customer and Corporate Services Committee and Operations Committee, Board Room
  • Nuclear Committee of the Whole – will meet as part of the Board of Directors Meeting
  • Public Comments – 11:30 a.m., Board Room

The public will be able to watch a live video stream of the Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday, November 13, by accessing nppd.com. The video stream for Finance Committee of the Whole will begin at 9:00 a.m.; a second, separate video stream for the full Board of Directors meeting is expected to begin at approximately 11:15 a.m. with Strategic Business Matters; further schedule updates will be available on NPPD’s website the morning of November 13. Recordings of these meetings will be available at www.nppd.com approximately one week after the meeting. The Operations Committee and Customer & Corporate Services Committee meetings will not be streamed.

It is possible that portions of the November 12-13, 2025, meeting will be held in Executive Session. Agendas for these meetings are kept continuously current and are available for public inspection during business hours at the office of the Assistant Secretary at the Columbus General Office, Columbus, Nebraska, or online at https://www.nppd.com/about-us/live-streaming. The agenda for the November 13, 2025, meeting includes, among other matters: (1) consideration of 2026 Revenue and Expense, and Capital Budgets, which proposed budgets are available for public inspection during business hours at the office of the Assistant Secretary at the Columbus General Office, Columbus, Nebraska; (2) consideration of proposed changes to 2026 wholesale rates for customers being provided wholesale electric service by NPPD under the General Firm Power Service (GFPS) Rate Schedule, Simultaneous Buy/Sell Rate Schedule, Standby Service Rate Schedule, Large Customer Interruptible Rate Schedule, Large Customer Market-Based Rate Schedule, Interruptible Market-Based Rate Schedule, Pilot Program Demand Response Resource Rate Schedule, or the Transmission Service Rate Schedule, all of which are proposed to become effective for service provided on and after January 1, 2026; (3) consideration of revised rates for customers being provided retail electric service by NPPD, all of which are proposed to become effective for service provided on and after January 1, 2026; (4) consideration of revised rates for customers being provided subtransmission service under the Subtransmission Service Rate Schedule, proposed to become effective for service provided on and after January 1, 2026; (5) consideration of revised rates for the delivery of irrigation water for customers on the Dawson County, Gothenburg, and Kearney Canals, which rates are proposed to become effective for 2026; and (6) consideration of revised rates for the purchase and delivery of storage water for irrigation from the District for contract customers, which rates are proposed to become effective for 2026.
